Given that our Talents play a predominant role in our overall success, we strive to ensure they can work and enjoy happy, productive lives. We believe that personal and family wellbeing comes before work, and happy Talents will be motivated to deliver outstanding results. While others boast about work-life balance, we uphold LIFE-work priority. At HKBN, our Talents enjoy much greater flexibility for leisure and personal reasons.

Without cutting pay, we shortened working hours from 8 to 7 hours daily, for a total of 35 hours per week, beginning July 2015

All HKBN Talents, regardless of job, rank or seniority, all enjoy 17 days of public holidays annually

Talents enjoy the choice to begin work between 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

On the eve of festive holidays, Talents enjoy a half-day leave to spend more time and celebrate with family and friends

Talents can apply for up to one year of no-pay Sabbatical Leave as an opportunity to pursue a personal goal or dream

Talent town hall meetings and fun day at Ocrean Park
At the Talent Meeting, Talents vow to lead the business to prosperity through the waves with the paddles in their hands.

At HKBN, we foster open, transparent and direct dialogue. We hold town hall meetings every year for all our Talents in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, which allow our senior management to share the latest business directions and enlist all Talents’ support. We also hold monthly management meetings for all supervisory and above level Talents, where business updates and experiences learnt as a group and individually are shared openly, with a view to breaking down silos and fostering business and professional growth.
