1. What is IDD 1666 App?
IDD 1666 App provides IDD 1666 customer with the latest promotions and instant access to account information such as per minute calling rates to different hot destinations, IDD usage and statement, etc.

2. Who is eligible to use IDD 1666 App?
IDD 1666 App is applicable to IDD 1666 customer after login successfully with his/her account.

3. Will there be any data usage charges incurred when using IDD 1666 App?
Customer can use IDD 1666 App via data network connection and he/she is solely responsible for the data usage charges incurred.

4. Are there any other service charges when using IDD 1666 App?
IDD 1666 call charges* of the IDD 1666 calls made through this App will be incurred, and local mobile call charges may also be incurred.

5. Can I use IDD 1666 App to call other countries/regions no matter I am in Hong Kong or overseas?
If the mobile number in the device has been registered IDD 1666 service, you can use this App to make IDD 1666 calls from Hong Kong to other countries/regions. However, you cannot make a call to other countries/regions using IDD 1666 through this App when travelling overseas.

 

Product Function

1. What is the function of the “Usage” button?
The “Usage” function allows IDD 1666 customer to check the unbilled usage# of IDD 1666 and International Call Forwarding service of his/her account for the current month.

2. What is the function of the “Check Rates” button?
The “Check Rates” function allows IDD 1666 customer to check the per minute calling rates for calling to hot destinations using IDD 1666.

3. What is the function of the “Contacts” button?
The “Contacts” function allows IDD 1666 customer with the option to display only the contacts with overseas telephone numbers listed on his/her device and also to make the long distance calls through IDD 1666.

4. What is the function of the “Statement” button?
The “Statement” function allows IDD 1666 customer to access his/her account to view HKBN statements within the last 12 months.

 

Technical Settings

1. What device/mobile can be used for running the IDD 1666 App?
You can install and use this App with the devices of iOS 4.3 or above, or Android version 2.2 or above. This App can be downloaded from Apple App Store and Google Play. The search keyword is “IDD1666”.

2. What if I forgot my Account No. / password?
If you have forgotten the Account No. / password, please click “Forgot Account No. or Password” on the Account Login page in the App and enter account related information. Our system will display the Account No. and it will send the password to you via email or via text message (SMS) to your registered mobile number.

3. My mobile device will be shared with someone else, what should I do if I do not want to disclose any information of my IDD 1666 account?
Please logout whenever you finished using the App. As long as you do not select the “Remember Me” check box on the Account Login page in the App, you have to enter your password every time you use it.

 

* IDD 1666 charges of the calls made through this application will be calculated based on the applicable rate chargeable to the IDD 1666 account as registered by the Hong Kong mobile number of the SIM card used, and does not include local mobile call charges.

# Usage record shown in relation to the IDD 1666 and International Call Forwarding services through this application is for reference only. Actual usage and charges for any relevant calendar month shall be found in the statement issued by HKBN.
